Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil: for Thou art with me; Thy rod and Thy staff they comfort me. ~ Psalm 23:4 ~
Just wanted to let you know I'm having a giveaway for that blue eye cup I thought was a salt cellar. Since your SIL collects them I thought you may want to enter and give it to her if you win. If so, hurry as it's only a quickie giveaway. I'm drawing a name tomorrow.
Pearl, Thank you for stopping by my place. I have been canning and freezing a lot. I love the new look of your blog and cute picture too.
This picture and verse are very comforting. God is so real and so powerful. Soon we will all be with Him, it's not going to be too much longer. Think of that ALL of us will be with Jesus forever and really it will not be much longer. I'm thinking about that more and more. I think about Heaven and being together with all believers and with our Lord, daily.
My cousin had a dream about her mother, who had just gone to be with the Lord. She saw her mother's hands. She knew instinctively that they were her mother's hands. She said that they were beautiful. In this world her hands were deformed by age and arthritis. Then in her dream she saw her parents walking and talking together. She smiled and said, "I know that they are so happy with the Lord."
Ahh this is just what i needed...im off to bed now and how appropriate that my last read for the night was this one.....it has certainly settled me somewhat after such a bad day.
I'm just an ancient soul that finds unique pleasures in this life... family & friends are my best treasures. As the silent songs of shabby pieces of the past sing out to me... I find myself magically drawn into their enchanting existance...
I emplore everyone to not copy, reproduce, reprint or act in an unkind way with regards to the photos, writing, and artwork; mine or otherwise, posted to this blog. Thank you, kindly, in advance, for your gracious understanding and respect.
