101 Ways to Tell Your Husband "I Love You"

Who doesn't enjoy looking at or making Lists? Good ones! I'm not talking about the dreaded "Things-To-Do-Today" List that makes you cringe slightly at the thought of it. I'm thinking about the Fun Lists in our lives... and, if you don't have one, a Fun List that is, then it's time to get started on one. Wish Lists for Christmas, Birthdays,
Anniversaries are always a nice place to begin. Or how about taking your List to the next level? What is your Dream-Of-All-Dreams Vacation? What would you pack? Or, even better, what would you shop for before that Dream Vacation?! Uhh~Huhhh... I thought that might get your attention ~grins~

I'm a professional List~Maker. I have notebooks with Lists of Gifts given and recieved over the years. Then there are the Lists of favorite meals, music, flowers, etc. Not just for myself, but for the guys as well. I suppose it gives me a certain amount of security in knowing I have a record of those types of things. But, I confess, I also have my Fantasy Lists. They make me happy. They allow me to think and dream outside of the box. I recently found a List of 101-Ways-To-Tell-Your-Husband "I Love You" No way I was going to pass that one up!

The creator of the List suggests picking 5 a day to do and then watch as your Love, your Marriage, blossoms and grows stronger! I think it is a terrific idea and I am going to give it a go! There were many things on this List that I already do, or Hubby does for me... goes both ways, right?! So, not being one to turn down awesome ideas for Love and Happiness, and believing you feel the same way... I saved that List and wanted to share it with you! I hope you will enjoy it...

And now you're just one click away from... 101 ways to say "I Love You"... I'd love to know what 5 you pick first! God bless...

Until another time... Pearl

Hi Pearl (sick of me yet?),
I love this idea and really need to be much, much better at it.

So far, I like #17 and #24 and have to say, I do #28 every night when he gets home from work - it's always the same, a heart with scrolls at the bottom and a crown at the top the has sparkles ;)

Will come back and read some more later and pick my other three...

Just have to say it since you were one of my shopping companions...
Le Jour Heureux de Bastille
Happy Bastille Day!

Pearl, I am so crazy! I just left you a long, wonderful comment...on my own blog! LOL! I thought I was on yours and it ended up on MY comments! So I will try to rewrite it HERE!

As I was saying...I just love the list in today's post! In the hustle and bustle, I certainly need to be reminded not to fail to show my husband just how much I appreciate him and how special he is! When I first started blogging, I wrote in several posts, just how great and special he was, and he LOVED it! I guess it was out there for the world to see! :) And I thought he could just read my mind, for heaven's sake! LOL! I will try to do more than even 5 of these! He certainly deserves it! :)

My daughter is a chronic list maker too! I've tried it and it does help my organization! But then I can't keep up with the list! Can't ever find it when I need it! LOL!

And as for the lake...I'll leave the light on and you come on down anytime! I'll reserve a porch rocker just for you! Has your name on it! LOL! It isn't the beach, but water nonetheless! :)

Take care! Love ya, Rhonda

Hi Sweetie,
My husband is a big list maker. When we were preparing to get married, we wrote everything down we needed to do on a used envelope. We still have that envelope. Hope you are feeling better.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

I think I do everything on that list, but the secret is to keep doing them ;)

Pearl, My Encouraging Words Wednesday is up and running...and my graphic looks amazing! Next week I will try the white one, I believe! I just love the little scrabble tiles you used for letters! :) I am hosting a Virtual Online Baby Shower for a blogger friend, Heather, at Hopscotch and Hydrangeas, next Friday. I wish I had asked you to do a graphic for this also. But, I hated to impose and it was last minute...last night! LOL! Mine doesn't look near as good as yours! Anyway, I hope that you can participate! You are so creative and I would love to see what you come up with! Check out the details on my site!

Hope today is going well for you!
Love ya, Rhonda :)

Pearl, you are so sweet and your comments always brighten my day! I am much like your mother! I traveled locally as a gospel singer when I was younger, but pretty much gave it up after David was born. Ashley could go anywhere, from the time she was an infant, and you would never know she was there. David, bless his heart, was a lot more active! ...not an easy baby! My mom and/or Kevin traveled with me, but they could do very little with him! He was a mama's boy! ...even though he would never admit it! LOL! But getting back to your mom, I have always loved music and if I truly focus on the words, will bring me to instant tears I just can't contain! Music ministers to me in a special way...and my tears are "happy tears," too! It is so easy to get into the habit of singing those old hymns time and again, and lose sight of their power and beauty. I was so hesitant to start this Wednesday post, because I am no preacher/teacher, but I do feel I could share as a sort of testimony, the way certain songs and scripture speak to my heart and maybe bring encouragement to someone else!

I am so excited that you are going to join us for the baby shower. It doesn't matter that you don't know Heather well. She is really sweet and will be so touched that you joined us. And I know your post will be just awesome!!!

Talk to you soon! Love ya, Rhonda

Thank you so much for stopping by! It is nice to "meet" you!! I really enjoyed this post! I think I do just about everything on this list! And my husband does too actually! My husband came from divorced parents and my parents had a very negative relationship. My husband and I have always tried to keep up with not only the romance but with the communication, respect, and humor that a marriage so desperately needs!! We aren't perfect but it sure is fun trying to be!!
This post is so cute I love it!!

Ya know, several years ago I asked my son and my daughter to email me with the answer to this question: How do you know your parents love each other? They wrote me back and I copied their responses onto pretty paper, framed it and sent it back to them as a gift for a holiday. This post brought that back to my mind and I think I'll post that tomorrow on my blog! Thank you, miss pearly chick for reminding me of that. I let my hubby know I love him by being by his side no matter what and telling him that regularly!!
Smoochies and thank you,
Connie
