Greetings and Happy 4th of July to all of my Friends!
Yes, I know I'm early... however, I'm in another flare~up mode with my health and am not betting that I'll be around much for the next several days... at least not long enough to do a worthwhile post. So, y'all are getting my July 4th post early... I'm just too tired to learn a new trick and set this up to post on the exact date I wish for... blahhh... I hope everyone has a safe and happy holiday! I thought I'd show some examples of old Fourth of July Post~Card art... Enjoy!!
Thanks for stopping by... also, my heartfelt thanks to everyone that got a message to me in regards to the death of my girl~friend Karen's Sister. The service was Monday afternoon and it was beautiful... Teresa actually planned everything, as she knew she was dying. It simply was so moving and the alter held floral arrangements of flowers from her gardens. The church was filled and there were people standing in the back and up the sides of the pews. It was such a large outpouring of love and respect. Have a wonderful holiday and enjoy the many blessings our Father has so lovingly given to us. God Bless...
Until another time... Pearl

Hope you are feeling better soon. So glad that the funeral was beautiful. Those post cards are neat. Never seen anything like them!
Dear Pearl, So sorry to hear of your declining health! Hope you improve quickly over the next few days! I'll be off the rest of the week also. David broke his arm Sunday evening, and is scheduled for surgery in the morning! So I am stopping by to wish you a happy 4th! I hope by then you will be feeling much better! My prayers are with you!
Hugs, Rhonda ;)

Dear, dear Pearl, so sad to hear you're down. You've been through so much these past few days, sounds like your body is demanding you take some time for YOU. Hope you're feeling tops again soon.
Was just looking through some of your earlier blog entries -- LOVE your post card collections, especially those lilacs!
I'm sorry you lost a friend. I'm so glad she knows Jesus. I do hope you feel better soon. I bestowed an award to you from my blog. Bless you dear. Kathi

Hi Pearl,
I'm sorry you're not feeling well, my thoughts are with you.
I posted early for the 4th as well, it's almost here.
I'm sorry to hear of your girl friend's sister's passing, but it sounds as though the service was lovely and she had many, many friends that celebrated her life and having the experience of knowing her.
You take care!

Love the new photo - oh, and the postcards are fantastic, what a collection.
Pearl, do feel better soon.
I love your new header, once again.
The postcards are fabulous! Where do you find these treasures?
Pearl~Thanks for visiting my blog too! You asked--WHY did I write it this way? Not sure, other than the day ended with a glorious sunset...so thought I should 'start' there.
the HOW? I cheated & wrote it in WORD first! :) Don't feel bad..my Hubby got confused too..so I read it 'from the bottom up' to him!
I'll be back later!
Barb
I hope you feel better soon sweetie.
Happy 4th of July.
Big hugs,
rue

Pearl, Just dropping in to wish you a happy 4th! Hope you and your family enjoy the day! Thank you so much for you encouraging support during David's crisis! It meant more to me than you will ever know! He is doing great! God is so good and faithful! ...and so are you dear friend! Love ya! Rhonda :)
I sure hope you feel better soon. I love your postcards! Very cute idea. LOL Great minds think alike huh?
I'm so sorry to read about your friend's sister passing. It sounds like you had a wonderful tribute of her life though.
Hugs,
Joanne
Hey Pearl,
You left me a comment about being a nut - I say sometimes you feel like a nut... sometimes you don't (like the old commercial). Hey just go with the flow and if it's Glenda the Good Witch ~ more power to you. Who hasn't wanted to be Glenda with all those wonderful powers (and singing voice)... Come out, come out wherever you are ;)
Hope you're feeling a little better today.

Hi Pearl! Happy 4th of July! Love your icon of Glenda! I am PMS'ing, and feel like if you threw water on me....I would disappear! Yeap, all that would be left of me was my hat, or bleached blonde "do"...wicked witch of the east...NC that is! LOLOL! I really shouldn't discuss this openly n blogland, huh? LOL! Oh well! Really I am more bored than anything! We are waiting for the fireworks to start! Since David's accident, WE ALL have cabin fever! Okay, me and my flying monkey's are going to see who else we can torture! LOLOL! Just kidding! Hope you are enjoying your day! Bet Alex is excited to celebrate the 4th! :)
~Love ya, Rhonda
