I read your post below, too! And sweetie, we all have those days or moments of uncertainty. ...where our faith falters! I have never met you in person, but I know from reading what is on your heart and your kind, encouraging words, as you lift us all up here in blogland, that you are a BEAUTIFUL person! You have a wonderful eloquent way with words, what a gift! You are one of a kind! The Christian song, "Holdfast," resounded in my mind as I read your post. I think the words are something like...."Holdfast, help is on the way, Holdfast, He's here to save the day..." can't remember the rest! One verse I discovered in a book I read while on vacation was, "His grace is sufficient for thee." It comes from II Corinthians. All we need, we draw from Him...and especially in our weak moments! Well, now I have rambled on! LOL! Just got started and couldn't stop! This is something I struggle with in my weak momments...quite often, so I could identify! I should have saved this long comment for an email, huh? LOL! Isn't it wonderful that we have each other here to lift one another up!
Hope you are having a wonderful day! I off to paint for the day...ugh...LOL!
Hi Sweetie, Your new banner just makes me smile! It is too cute! Thank you for the kind comments on my blog today! You are always so encouraging and make my day! And you can leave a LONGGGGGG comment or email anytime for me! You are such a gifted writer, I love reading your comments and posts!
Don't you wish for a moment, we could borrow those ruby red slippers and go anywhere ...and do anything we like...for just a short while! LOL! I do love Glenda, too! I always thought she was so beautiful!
You never did say...How did Alex's party go last Saturday?
Oh, and the guy helping out with the catering, behind the counter, is Alan. He works for my husband and he is a hoot! He'll do most anything you ask! He is 42 and single...after 2 short marriages, so he doesn't have much of a homelife. One time he decided he wanted to be my part-time nanny. But after one afternoon with David, he left skid-marks, and NEVER mentioned it again! LOL! I'm not kidding! LOL! We have hosted several pool parties, for church and for Ash's B'day, and he is always our lifeguard. He even had a shirt printed, and saves it for those occasions! He is a great guy! He has more mood swings than any old woman...but we love him anyway! LOL!
Hope you have a great weekend! And I can't wait to read your tag responses! I know they will be great!
I'm just an ancient soul that finds unique pleasures in this life... family & friends are my best treasures. As the silent songs of shabby pieces of the past sing out to me... I find myself magically drawn into their enchanting existance...
I emplore everyone to not copy, reproduce, reprint or act in an unkind way with regards to the photos, writing, and artwork; mine or otherwise, posted to this blog. Thank you, kindly, in advance, for your gracious understanding and respect.
