Romancing the Blog ♥ ... Valentine's Day Blog Party ...

Welcome... and, Happy Valentine's Day! I have the pleasure of joining a Valentine's Day Blog Party today.. This beautiful event... Romancing the Blog... is being hosted by Lesley, of Flatwoods Folk Art. Cupid's arrow has struck over 50 Blogs for this Enchanting Party... please be sure to visit Lesley's blog and check her left sidebar under the heading "Valentine's Day Blog Party Participants" and start visiting the blogs listed. You will find decoration inspiration, recipes, free downloads, perhaps some give~aways, gorgeous photographs and amazing artwork. Almost sounds too good to be true! Please grab a handful of Conversation Hearts and sit back to enjoy all of the small tokens of Love that I have for you... as always at my blog, please remember to click and enlarge the images for your full viewing pleasure...

Let's begin with a small collection of Vintage Valentine Post Cards featuring umbrellas...

Aren't they adorable?! For those of you who may be first-time visitors... I often post Vintage Post Card images, and I'd like to encourage you to see the other Valentine collections that have already been shared. To see Cupid as a Blacksmith, go here... His talents don't end with that, see these... And who could turn down Vintage Love Letters? To see this collection of Love Letter inspired Vintage Post Cards, go here... This collection is, in my opinion, simply beautiful... see for yourself!

Wouldn't it be fun to enjoy some sweet treats on these cute Conversation Heart Plates? To get your own set of these whimsical plates, go here.

Perhaps you'd rather have your sweets with a Romantic Fondue Set... This lovely set can be found here.

I just found out about these pretty Heart Donuts! Krispy Kreme stores will be giving away a dozen Valentine's Day cards, featuring a coupon for one free doughnut, to all customers who purchase a dozen doughnuts through Valentine's Day. Read more about it here.

One final collection of Vintage Heart~Shaped Valentine's...

I thought it would be nice to end this with the Four~Leaf Clover Valentine, since St. Patrick's Day is the next Holiday... Thank you for visiting with me, and I hope that your time was well spent... I'd love to know if you found a favorite Valentine! My thanks to Lesley for hosting this Romantic Party... I join her in inviting you to follow Cupid's glitter laced trails from treat-to-treat filled blog. May this special day of Love find your hearts filled with countless blessings to the point of overflowing...

God bless...

Until another time... Pearl

Happy Valentine's Day Pearl. Your blog is so beautiful. I wanted to stop by during the party to say hello! I also wanted to tell you that I have a huge collection of postcards. My favorite is on my blog for today's event AND it is one of the mates to your postcard "prayer to St. Valentine's". I just love the art work.

God Bless you and have a wonderful VDay.

Hi Pearl,
What a fun party you're putting on here at your Sentimental Journey! I love all the Valentines, I don't think I have a favorite since they're all so pretty. I don't usually like donuts, but have to say the ones with the sprinkles look mighty tempting. The fondue heart is delightful... I think that would be perfect for Shayne (but filled with cheese fondue... which is a long story I will tell you about later ;). Have fun, stay warm and enjoy your St. Valentine's Day. As always, you're in my heart!
