Hi Pearl, I am finally back to blogging and trying to catch up. I love the wedding cakes, my favorite cake is the sandcastle, love it! I also love vintage wedding photos, I found a couple beautiful 8 x 10's at an estate sale a few months ago. I hope you are having a good week. Hugs, Kathy

Hello Pearl...How are you aweetie? I love looking at the vintage wedding pics and those cakes are gorgeous...just too pretty to cut and eat! lol It was so good to hear from you girl...If I lived close to you I'd give you a huge clump of each one of my iris...the baby blue one is just amazing to look at and I have a late bloomer that is a gorgeous wine color...I bought a bulb of each one from a sweet little elderly lady that had flower sales every spring...I moved the bulbs with me to this house! I was just so glad they grew for me! lol lol Take care my freind and I hope you are having a great week!
Oh Pearl, how adorable is the pink cake slice?? Yes, I adore those vintage wedding shots! Luckey for me I have several from family! I think many of the pillar and vine backrounds used on them so beautiful in itself! Foe my daughter Noelle's bridal shower I am making 2 tier little wedding cakes in pumpkin with creamcheese icing for each guest! Each wil be toped with a orangish rose and have trim on each layer side! I can't wait to do them!! You do know that little bits of me is my daughter don't you? Yes, I really appreciate you wishing me a well weekend! I have had such a bad week with my husband and my IBS has really kicked in! Plus I recieved notice my court case is set for Sept. 1! That only irrates my belly to no end! Well going to run, sending love to you, Lori
I'm just an ancient soul that finds unique pleasures in this life... family & friends are my best treasures. As the silent songs of shabby pieces of the past sing out to me... I find myself magically drawn into their enchanting existance...
I emplore everyone to not copy, reproduce, reprint or act in an unkind way with regards to the photos, writing, and artwork; mine or otherwise, posted to this blog. Thank you, kindly, in advance, for your gracious understanding and respect.
