Welcome to Your UnBirthday Party...

Now statistics prove... prove that you've one birthday. Imagine just one birthday every year Ahhh... but there are 364 UnBirthdays! Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer...

I doubt that many of us are unaware of at least some of the adventures that Alice had in Wonderland. Her story began as she followed a White Rabbit as he pulled a watch from his pocket, declaring he was late. The Rabbit jumped down a hole and Alice was quick to do the same...

"Oh dear! Oh dear! I shall be too late!"

After a very long time of falling and seeing many odd things on her way down the Rabbit's hole... she lands with a THUMP, just in time to see the White Rabbit scurrying down a long passage saying...

"Oh my ears and whiskers, how late it's getting!"

~ The I'm Late Song ~

I'm late, I'm late for
A very important date.
No time to say hello, good-bye,
I'm late, I'm late, I'm late
I'm late and when I wave,
I lose the time I save.
My fuzzy ears and whiskers
Took me too mich time to shave.
I run and then I hop, hop, hop,

I wish that I could fly.
There's danger if I dare to
Stop and here's a reason why:
I'm over-due, I'm in a rabbit stew.
Can't even say good-bye,
hello, I'm late, I'm late, I'm late.

And so begins the stories of Alice's adventures... one of them being the UnBirthday Party! Now, who does not like a party of any type?! Exactly! So, won't you please come along and join me in the celebration of everyone's UnBirthday? I have decided to come to the party dressed as the White Rabbit from Alice's dream... Perhaps not the most glamorous choice, but for me it just seemed like the fun thing to do... I know it does not involve a Tiara, but in case I haven't told y'all... I actually own a Tiara! Ohhh... it's so pretty and it always brings a smile to my face when I put it on and lounge back in my four-poster bed! But, I digress...

The Invitations were sent out...

The Salads and Shrimp are ready...

Steaks are being grilled... mmmmmmmmm, I can't wait to eat!

Of course we will need some Punch! How about this one, carved from a block of ice! Just let the lil server man behind the table know what your pleasure is, please!

~ The Drinking Song ~

Then fill up the glasses as quick as you can,
And sprinkle the table with buttons and bran,
Put cats in the Coffee and mice in the tea
And welcome Queen Alice with thirty times three.
Put cats in the Coffee and mice in the tea
And welcome Queen Alice with thirty times three.

Then put in the glasses molasses and ink
Or anything else that is pleasant to drink,
Mix sand with the cider and wool with the wine
And welcome Queen Alice with ninety times nine,
Mix sand with the cider and wool with the wine
And welcome Queen Alice with ninety times nine.

We simply cannot have an UnBirthday Party without a Cake! And since this is a Magical Dream Party... each piece of Cake turns into your favorite! Yummies!!

I've set some tables up under the sweet blooming Wisteria... make yourself at home!

If y'all hear bells ringing in the distance, it's Rhonda, from Scooterblu's Whimsy. She said she'd be arriving with bells on! I hope she's as hungry as I am, and the rest of y'all, too! Rhonda will probably pass by the Mushroom and Caterpillar talking with Alice. Aren't their party hats Fancy?!

Tracie, from My Petite Maison, will be here, too! Perhaps she won't mind helping me toss some Pink Confetti about...

Oh, looks like Rue has left her PB 'n J Life to attend the celebration! I hope she reminded Alice and the Twins, TweedleDee and TweedleDum to hurry up and join us!

There's Joanne, from My Little Cottage In The Making, and Barbara, from Barbara Jacksier. Just in time for some croquet, Ladies! Joanne tells me that today is her REAL UnBirthday! And Barbara admits that she's a brunette Alice at heart!

I think it's time to open some Presents, don't you?

I hope that you Ladies will share with us what you got for your UnBirthday!

~ The UnBirthday Song ~

A very merry unbirthday
To me, To who?
To me, Oh, you

A very merry unbirthday
To you, Who, me?
To you, Oh, me

Let's all congratulate us with another cup of tea
A very merry unbirthday to you

Now statistics prove
Prove that you've one birthday
Imagine just one birthday every year
Ah, but there are 364 unbirthdays
Precisely why we're gathered here to cheer

A very merry unbirthday
To me?
To you

A very merry unbirthday
For me?
For you

Now blow the candle out, my dear
And make your wish come true,
A very merry unbirthday to you.

Happy unbirthday to you!!! It has been such a long time ago since I read Alice, thanks for reminding me of a great stories. Your party is so great lots of delicious things.
A year or two ago totally spontaneously I made this habit with my son - to make an unbirthday party during the summer since it is soooo long for him to wait his real birthday.
Everyday should be a party, there are so many reasons to celebrate life with our loved ones.

Thanks for the party!Suzy

A Very Merry Unbirthday to all here! and scanning across the room - ahhh!

Hi Pearl!
What a party you've thrown (kiss, kiss on each cheek sweets!). What fun, you look beautiful in your costume.

I'd love some of the buffet. Wow, you've gone all out ~ the shrimp & steak and gotta love the punch right in a beautifully carved block of ice. Please, sir - may I have some punch?

I am throwing pink confetti in my party dress, it's blue and cream with tons of lace billowing about (I wanted to kind of go with the Alice look) but it's long and flowing and I feel like such a princess and have been touched by an angel coming to this beautiful party!

I will take one of the favors - Merci, my sweet friend and now I will climb into the limo, yay! a pink limo. Will you go for a ride with me, come on everyone. Let's just go a few blocks and then come back to the party.

I have a feeling I'll be the last one at the party.

Mmm, now some cake and that's just what I want it to be (ooh, I do think it's filled with cherries - yum!).

Well, I don't want to overstay my welcome, so I'd better hop in the limo & go back to the Maison... I may be back for more fun though ;)

Happy Unbirthday to you, Pearl and now I say hello, goodbye~
xoxo~Tracie

You are so creative and fun loving! I wish we were neighbors. I would love to come to an unbirthday party! What a hoot! You know...I have never read Alice in Wonderland. It seemed weird and frightening to me as a child. I think I might have to have a gander.

Hi Pearl:
I have never been to a such a wonderful celebration as this unbirthday party. I am so glad that I got to come and get a chance to see you and Tracie. We have all been trying to get together for such a long time. Do you think it would be alright if I take an extra long ride in the limo because I am very sleepy from the cake. Now you must rest tonight because that was quite a production.

Hugs,
LeAnn:)

To Miss Lori Bee... It seems as though your blog is blocked to public viewing, at least from my end! I'd like to thank you for visiting today and do hope you'll be able to return again. It was neat to learn that the UnBirthday Party stirred up warm memories of times with your children...

Hi Pearl, just stopping by to see how you were doing! I enjoyed the party yesterday! Sorry I didn't stay for clean-up, especially since you were so kind to help me after Heather's party, but I had a craft show and school shopping calling my name...and two kids pushing me out the door! LOL! I sure wish you could have been with me! You would have loved it, and I would have enjoyed your company!

Talk to you soon! Hugs, Rhonda :)
