Today begins a new chapter for me in blogland.
Each Tuesday I'll be posting what I like to call
Tid-Bits.
Just a few choice things that amuse and intrigue me...
I hope they'll tickle your fancy as well...

Tuesday Tid-Bits...
I have memories of my Dad eating cow tongue...
God bless my sweet Mom... she'd cook a gigantic tongue
and then put it on a platter, cover it with plastic wrap,
and stash it in the refrigerator for Daddy...

It wasn't uncommon, at all, in our home
to see him leaning into the refrigerator, plate in one hand,

a knife in the other... slicing off slabs of tongue...

Moving right along...
