I got a package of Sunshine on Saturday!
How many of you recognize the fine craftsmanship in these beautiful house shoes?! Yep... handmade by the extremely talented Twyla, from Two Crazy Crafters... she joins her equally talented daughter, Lindsey, in writing a wonderful blog... They also have a shop on Etsy, as well as with Lollishops... Do yourself a big favor and stop by to visit them... I promise, you'll be delighted if you do...
Twyla and I have been enjoying getting to know each other better... She's such a precious soul and has a kind heart... recently she offered to send me a pair of her famous house shoes as a token of Friendship! Who could say no to a pair of soft, warm, cuddly yellow house shoes?! Certainly not me!
They make me think of daffodils on a warm Spring day...
I've tried, many times, to learn to crochet and knit... success has eluded me thus far... I do believe that Twyla has mastered this fine art... just look at her handi-work...
I wish everyone could touch these... they're sooo soft and thick...
Yellow is a happy color in my eyes... It's fun to look around the world and see how many different ways yellow pops up... I wish I had one of those umbrellas for dreaming under on the beach...
One thing I had been dreaming of was a pair of these house shoes... ages ago, like many of you, I had a pair and remembered just how wonderful they'd been... Thank you, Twyla, for sending these to me and for making my feet very happy...
For the most part, my feet 'n legs stay swollen to one degree or another... I honestly cannot recall the last time I saw my ankles...
But lemons turned to lemon-aid Saturday evening when I opened my package and an abundance of sunshine spilled out... my pink slippers came off and I slipped my tired feet into my new house shoes...
Mmmmmmmmm... pure Heaven!
If possible... my feet would have started to sing! Instead, I just smiled 'n hummed a happy lil tune...
If I could, I'd send you dozens of yellow roses, Twyla... I truly am touched by your gracious gift... but what I treasure most is your Friendship... I'm blessed in so many wonderful ways...

Thank you for coming by and saying hi.
Yes, the hand-made bird nests are work, but also fun, and rewarding. I hope people will try them from my tutorial.
I love your yellow slippers, and all the bright cheery things you had on your post. A bit of sunshine is right!

First green now yellow! So cheery! Those are adorable...I only crochet afghans. I wish I could make something like that! Wonderful!
Isn't it fun to get unexpected treats?! Enjoy!
Oh, these house shoes are so pretty! And they look so cute on you! They do look happy and what a wonderful gift from your fellow blogging buddy!
I've never been to crochet or knit either. Both grandmothers tried to teach me...but no such luck!
Hope you are doing well and staying warm! Big hugs your way! Rhonda :)
Okay, I just scrolled on down to get caught up with your post! (Always behind, forgive me! "smiles") ...and I saw the rocking frog on your sidebar! I laughed out loud!!! He is too cute!
I would love to have a set of that retro furniture too! My grandmother had a set on her front porch and I loved it! Brings back memories! :)
Love the floral vintage pics below! GORGEOUS! Now they just make me smile and long for spring! :) ~hugs Rhonda
