A Gift of Floral Treasures...

With so much cold weather and snow these days... I thought it would be refreshing to see some beautiful roses... Anyone with me?! Some time ago, a non-blogging friend sent these to me... They're covers from Vintage Garden Catalogues, 1849 and forward...

Recently there was a small cry for help in blogland from Holly, at Girls At Heart... She needed some ideas for some Thrift Shop frames she'd found... I suggested "Seed Packs" and offered to send these to her, but decided that perhaps someone else may find some use for these breathtaking images as well... Please remember to click 'n enlarge to view them better...

Aren't those some of the most beautiful rose images you've seen? Fortunately, I also got some with the ever-cheerful daffodils on them...

I saved the best for last, in my opinion...

I just adore the scent of hyacinths... and I love all of the colors they come in... I could bury my face in a bunch of them, mixed in with a zillion lilacs, and be a very content woman!

Which cover was your favorite? What creative ideas do you have for using these? Make sure you stop by Holly's to see her sweet lil frames and to find out what she ends up doing with them! She's a happy gal with a cute blog... you won't regret your visit... and I hope you've enjoyed your visit with me...

God bless...

Until another time... Pearl

These images are wonderful, Pearl! Pick a favorite? Oh, my! I don't know... The one with the Sweetpeas mixed in is unique. I *think* those are Sweetpeas... Oh! I miss my flowers!
I ♥ flowers. Hee-hee! Did you see what I just made?! Thanks for the tip! Also- thanks for letting us copy these images Pearl and thanks for the kind words.

Such beauty! My first instinct was to say the Scott's roses one with the pink roses was my favorite, but then I noticed things I loved about others too. The Storrs Harrison and the first Child's 1999 one. Just beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing! Have a great day! Twyla
